Chicago Dental Implant Seminar 2008

We were invited to the AMMOS (dental implant) seminar with two of the Oral Surgeons that Mike refers patients to. It was held in freezing Chicago. We stayed at the Sheraton and had a great time with the people we went with. Kristie and the rest of the women spent two days walking up and down the Miracle Mile shopping and freezing. The wind chills for those of you who have lived in the Midwest are killer, right to the bone. We have to admit that although it was freezing cold it was kind of a nice change from Arizona. We both missed it just a little. On a funny note, the other General Dentist with us is married to Mike's fifth grade home room teacher, how crazy is that. It was her first job after graduating from college, Mike was 11 years old and she was 23.

Kristie with the girls inside the hotel nice and warm.

Update From the Crocketts

As you can see we put some Hawaii pictures up and as you can see we cannot seem to get the slideshow centered and it would not allow us to put the 500 pictures we took. We also figured you would be very bored after a few so there you go.

New stuff....lets see....mike had his 33rd birthday in october, we had a party at his office with his staff, they decorated the office for him and we had a good time. Kristie made a Vodka cake which was excellent. Nothing else to exciting that night, we picked up the Kristie's parents for the week as they flew down for some dental work. The week before that Mike's parents were down also for some dental work. We had a great time with them. Always nice to see family since we live here alone and they all live in Utah.

We continue to keep busy and cannot believe how fast time flies by. We are looking forward for the holidays we will be here in AZ for Thanksgiving and are excited to go to friends house for dinner. We will be driving to Utah on Christmas Eve and be there for a week for Christmas. Maybe we will be able to see some of our friends from Ohio and Utah, that we have not seen for a long time it seems.

We hope you are all doing well and we enjoying checking out your blogs to keep up with your busy lives. Here is a picture of Mike and his staff at his office for his birthday.....

A few Updates

We know it has been awhile, but since Mike is the one that has to post we are at his mercy when it comes to posting things on here. We are both so busy and never seem to have the time to sit down and put anything on here. We get asked all the time to update this thing so here we are a few months later again. Probably the main reason we do not post on here is that our life rarely changes except when we travel or do something fun. We both continue to stay busy with work and try to stay as active as possible. Mike is still waterskiing every saturday and hates it when he has to miss a weekend on the lake. Of course college football has now started and Mike can not stay away from TV on saturdays seems like our life every fall revolves around college football and the BUCKEYES. We did take a few vacations this summer, went Utah for a week and half to attend a wedding and spend a week at Flaming Gorge boating and camping. When we got home from that trip three weeks later we went to Hawaii. So our vacations were pretty close together this summer. Seems like such a pain to take that much time off work for us, but once we are gone there is nothing better then missing work. We are pretty sad that this year we will not be making our annual St. George trip for the Marathon, our good friends the Barney's could nto make it this year and among other things it just will not work out. This will be the first time in a long time that in October we will watch conference and not just listen to it on the radio on our ride home like previous years. Mike has been asked to go to Utah to baptize his nephew. Should be pretty fun and he is looking forward to it. He will be in Utah on October 10-12. Kristie decided to stay in AZ and you guessed it......work...... Also airfare as you all know is kind of joke, she will be missed. The holidays are coming soon and for those of you in Utah we will be there for a week and half during the Christmas holidays so maybe we will run into some of you there. As always if you ever want to spend some time in AZ and need a place to stay please let us know.

We will post our Hawaii pictures when we get a chance...

Flaming Gorge With Mike's Family

We decided to tow the boat from our home in AZ all the way to Salt Lake City then all the way to Flaming Gorge and back. In all we totalled almost 2000 miles on the truck, but it was probably the best decision as the water there was perfect for skiing and mike had always wanted to ski on the glass at the Gorge behind a true water ski boat.......couldn't have been any sweeter, unless the rainy afternoons had stayed away......

Our tent we bought at costco had a sweet porch on it. You might not be able to tell but we put the biggest queen air double mattress in that small tent and we had no room for anything else. Of course mike was not thinking when we tried to put the mattress in there full of air. Then the cord was not long enough to blow it up once we had deflated it so we had to move the tent closer to the truck to fill it up with air......what a dork.
Some of the sexiest feet you will ever see....................
Jenn and Fletch trying to warm up on the cold mornings on the lake. Everyday we were the only ones on the water at 6 am, I guess for obvious reasons but the water was so perfect.........As we got off the water the wake boarders were just getting out of bed.......
