Table, Desk, Fence

As I said in an earlier post we had to have a pool fence put in so I thought I would show you what it looks like. It turned our better then we had expected as we liked not having a fence. The company did a great job with it anyhow. We also decided it was about time that we get a new kitchen table. We bought our old table from RC Willey in 1997, it was a little overdue for a change. Our office in our home has been a collection of boxes since we moved in, in 2005. It was also about time for some new furniture for that room as well. We had a bunch of boxes as Mike had to put it together. We left the boxes outside for bulk trash pick up and everyone thought we had purchased baby furniture, they got a good laugh when we said it was a table and desk. The baby furniture is on its way as well.

You have to be kidding...that is so funny. Amy and I were sitting down a pool fence guy on Friday and we came up with the same design...almost exactly. You guys must have great taste haha. I'll have to call Mike and find out who did yours...looks nice.

Wow, that is beautiful! So funny how quickly we "assume" things. I would have thought the same!

Love the new additions! Jason's sister Heather is having a baby the end of May and is naming him Cohen, such a cute name. I'm sure they will be little Mike and Kristy's! I'm glad that everything is going smooth and that the babies will be here soon. Wish I could be there to see you two with kids. You guys will be great, my kids will always cherish the love you gave to them while in Ohio. Talk to you soon, Kellie

From God’s Arms, To My Arms, To Yours

So many wrong decisions in my past, I'm not quite sure
If I can ever hope to trust my judgement anymore.
But lately I've been thinking,
Cause it's all I've had to do.
And in my heart I feel that I
Should give this child to you.
And maybe, you could tell your baby,
When you love him so, that he's been loved before, By someone, who delivered your son,
From God's arms, to my arms, to yours.

If you choose to tell him,
If he wants to know,
How the one who gave him life
Could bear to let him go.
Just tell him there were sleepless nights,
I prayed and paced the floors,
And knew the only peace I'd find,
Was if this child was yours.

And maybe, you could tell your baby,
When you love him so, that he's been loved before,
By someone, who delivered your son,
From God's arms, to my arms, to yours.

This may not be the answer,
For another girl like me.
But I'm not on a soapbox,
Saying how we all should be.
I'm just trusting in my feelings,
And I'm trusting God above,
And I'm trusting you can give this baby
Both his mothers' love.
And maybe, you could tell your baby,
When you love him so, that he's been loved before,
By someone, who delivered your son,
From God's arms, to my arms, to yours.

(This poem was based on the writings of a young birth mother, whom she shared with songwriter Michael McClean. It has been set to music and comes with a 100% guarantee that no one who has been involved with adoption in any way will make it all the way through with dry eyes! )

I know you guys are going to be great parents to my niece and nephew... they're going to be so blessed, and such a blessing.

If you'd like me to send you some baby photos of Helen, I can. She was the MOST beautiful baby in our famiy! Everywhere we took her people would say "wow... she's gorgeous!" I wish my mom were here to tell you the "mom" stuff about her, but I do remember what a beautiful baby and child she was.
Best wishes ~ Tracy
